In the name of God, the holder of the eternal and endless mercy!

I grew up in an atheist family but from early childhood believed in mysterious and omnipotent God who would not refuse the ones who turned to Him. During some difficult situations of my youth when my own strength was not sufficient I used to turn in my heart to God for assistance, and the situation turned the better way.

The largest International Exhibition Centre of Russia "Crocus Expo" in Moscow will host the International Halal Exhibition "Moscow Halal Expo 2011" on May 26-28.

The products and services are admitted to the Exhibition subject to their halal certification or declaration on "halal" completed in a proper way, Russia media said.

Moscow Halal Expo 2011 is the opportunity for the Russian and foreign producers and businessmen to present themselves on an international level, to share experience and to establish useful business contacts.

(IslamDag) - Quranic verses appeared on the skin of a baby in the Caucasus made lots of headlines in 2009.

A nine-month old Ali Yakubov in Dagestan, has become the object of pilgrimage after his parents and the village Imam reported seeing Quranic verses, in Arabic, appearing on his skin. These facts have been attested by the local doctors, politicians and the clergy.

According to local Imam, the signs in Arab first appeared on the body of the new-born Ali a few days after his birth.

The president on Monday presented the Order of Courage to the families of Anas Pshikhachev, Kuramagomed Ramazanov, Ahmad Tagaev and Gadzhimurad Nurmagomedov, four North Caucasus clerics, killed by extremists.

Medvedev also said that he would like to thank the Muslim clergy of the North Caucasus "for their commitment to peace and inter-confessional accord in the region."

Russia's first Muslim TV channel started its test run broadcastings on Sunday in a move earlier endorsed by President Dmitry Medvedev, who pointed to the necessity of creating such a channel in Russia as soon as possible.

The aim is to make Islam more familiar and better understood among the Russian population, a mission that should be specifically fulfilled by Islam experts, Medvedev explained.

Caucasus has always been famous for its heroes, their acts were admired, younger generations grew following their examples.

The most honorable place among these true heroes occupy Shaheeds - Martyrs, who died on the path of God, upholding the religion of Islam.

Such high award is received only by Allah's chosen.
