Two Saudis invent bone screw from date stones

The European Patent Office (EPO) granted a patent to two Saudis for their invention of a nail ‘screw’ made of natural minerals, including date stones.
The screw is similar in its formation to the structure and composition of bones because it contains carbohydrates, protein, fiber, and minerals.
Moscow shows "Muslims - pride of Russia"

Production Center Art-films and "Tvorog - Media Group" launched a movie project "Muslims - the pride of Russia" to portray outstanding contribution by contemporary Russian Muslims. Presentation of the first two films took place last weekend at the Moscow Government House of public organizations.
The project authored by Ahmad Makarov and directed by Abdullah Issa is financially supported by Islamic culture, science and education development foundation.

Australian Muslims have come together to celebrate their remarkable accomplishments and successes that served their community and their country.
“They celebrate the exceptional and remarkable contributions made by Muslim individuals and organizations to both the Australian Muslim community and the mainstream community,” Hanan Dover, President of Mission of Hope, said, reported Muslim Village website on Tuesday, November 27.
