The U.S. Department of Defense stated this week that it will now replenish all of the munitions used by Israel in its recent eight day siege on Gaza, which lead to the deaths of over 180 Palestinians and hundreds of injuries—a large portion being children.

Israel will withhold tax revenues from Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas’s administration until March at least in response to his statehood campaign at the United Nations, Israel’s foreign minister said.
Under interim peace deals, Israel collects some $100 million a month in duties on behalf of the Palestinian Authority (PA) in the occupied West Bank -- money that is badly needed to pay public sector salaries.

The repeated exposure to violence has left many of Gaza’s children suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.
Children, who account for more than half of the 1.7 million people in Gaza, have been back to school, but there is still a long way for them to be back to normal.
These children, who have lived through two wars with Israel, are still coming to terms with what happened during Israel’s week-long bombardment of Gaza.
Saad Hasanat, 13, who lost six of his cousins, said the memory of seeing their bodies still haunts him.

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has lashed out at Israel and said that it is committing ethnic cleansing against Palestinians as Israel's air offensive against Gaza left more than 100 people, mostly civilians, dead.
Erdoğan, addressing his deputies in a parliamentary group meeting on Tuesday, said Israel is undermining peace and international law in the region and committing ethnic cleansing in the region.
“Israel is occupying Palestinian lands step-by-step,” Erdoğan said, adding that Israel is terrorizing the Middle East.
