Secret name of Allah
Question:
I heard that Allah Almighty has a secret name and asking Allah by this name makes a prayer acceptable. I wish to go for pilgrimage - Hajj very much, but money is not enough, what to do?
Answer:
Scholarly answer: There are different viiews with regards to the sacred name of Allah: some say that it is "al-Hayyu al-Qayyum", others - "Allah", there are also those who have other opinions.
Regarding Hajj, it is not obligatory for those who have no means to perform it. To a such person, going for a Friday prayer equals to performing Hajj. Pray to Allah and inshaAllah you will go there.
