A Short Story about the Prophet Dawud
After the death of Talut the Most High made Dawud (peace be upon him) a king and a prophet. When he reached 40 years of age, he set out for Bait al Muqaddas. During Dawud’s reign, the Israelites conquered Jordan, Sham, Palestine, Oman, Aleppo and Hamat. The Jabbars had been living in many lands. After running them out, the Children of Israel brought these lands to monotheism.

Describing the characteristics of God-fearing people, Allah says: “They are people striving to perform the five times daily prayers with hudhur, fulfilling all its foundations and conditions, performing each bow and prostration to the utmost, and are consistent in it.”
You know how it happens: you are walking on the street, sunk in thought, taking no notice of the things around you, and all of sudden, as if you would wake up for an instance, you catch a phrase - a single phrase of a stranger, a single sentence out of somebody’s dialog. And it turns out to be the words that you were predestined to hear; the answer to the question that has been bothering you.

A short story about how the Almighty ordered the children of Israel to slaughter a cow.
Among the children of Israel there was a rich man named Amil. This man’s only heir was his poor cousin. One day, the rich man was found dead. There were many speculations regarding the motive of the murder. According to one legend, the rich man was killed by his cousin. The relatives of Amil started searching for the murderer. The village became all messed up but they still could not trace the murderer. According to another legend, the murderer left the body out in the wilderness between two villages trying to get rid of the evidence.
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “The world rests on four things: the scholarship of the ‘alims, the justice of the rulers, the generosity of the wealthy, and the prayers of the fuqara (people who are conscious of Allah)”.

The prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “If people are talking about the predestination of The Most High Allah - you be quiet, if they talk about astrology (the science of predicting by the stars) - be quiet, if they talk about my companions - likewise, be quiet”.
